Adam is a four year old boy with 22Q11.2 Deletion Syndrome (missing part of his 22nd chromosome). In addition to the symptoms of the condition, Adam also needed open heart surgery. Adam does not speak but uses sign language to communicate. As you can imagine, this results in many trips to the hospit
